Milan, the name of this city evokes different meanings for a long time now. It is the city that grows, twice the rest of Italy; It is the city that welcomes, with a positive migratory flow for a decade now; it is the city of exchanges, with infinite national and international events. We can say that time has stratified a certain myth of Milan as modern Italian metropolis with global character. This short photographic story was born of the need to transform the background noise and a certain restlessness that accompany the daily life of my city. Starting from the encounter between masses and architectures of the city center to get closer to the people who make up the metropolitan lifeblood. I wanted to portray them with use of motion blur, which allows a visual synthesis, abstraction of details and a sort of archetyping of the photographed people.
