We're just tourists in this life, 2019-

The photos of this series were taken between July and September 2019.
The project would like to investigate the relationship between masses of tourists and the Italian cities of art in periods of maximum overcrowding.
I used the long exposure to show people as ephemeral and transparent presences and groups that they form as a unique flow in movement.
I wanted to give suggestion of the transience of their presence in comparison with the history of the place that surrounds them.

The research, initially thought as a long-term project, was halted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
